New Covid Protocol

Dear Patients,

While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to the safety of our patients and staff. With that said, our office has slowly started to reopen to taking care of our patients. We ask that you please be patient and understand that we will do our best to accommodate your scheduling needs as we know many of you are anxious to get back into our office.

Our office is following or exceeding the infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable.

During this time, we have implemented additional safety precautions to help protect our patients and staff. For example:

  • Our office will communicate with you upon scheduling by asking some COVID-19 screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
  • We will postpone treatment for any patient who has experienced or been in contact with someone who has experienced the following symptoms within 14 days of the scheduled appointment date: fever, cough, loss of taste and/or smell, flu-like symptoms, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, and fatigue
  • Upon arrival at our office, call us before entering the building/elevator to let us know you have arrived. We will call or text you once the office is ready for you to come upstairs to our suite.
  • Every person entering the office is expected to wear a face covering and will be asked to sanitize their hands immediately upon entry.
  • Your temperature will be taken with a contactless thermometer upon your arrival to confirm no fever.
  • Appointments will be managed and/or modified to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that your original appointment times may have been moved by 10-45 minutes. You will also notice that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling.
  • We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in our office at any one time.
  • Covid-19 testing may be required for some patients before starting on dental treatment such as fillings, crowns, bridges ect.
  • Plexiglass shields have been installed at the front desk to minimize exposure to airborne pathogens.
  • Medical-grade high efficiency (HEPA) air purifiers have been installed in the office to help improve the air quality in the area for all patients and staff.
  • Our doctors and staff will be wearing all of the recommended personal protective equipment (PPE).

Please call our office with any questions or concerns. We look forward to welcoming our patients back!
